Supporting The Beliefs of The LDS Church

This is a list of some of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' beliefs and the bible passages that support them. (That's right, folks. Despite what your pastor told you, Mormon's do believe in the Bible and our beliefs are in there, when you look at other verses besides John 3:16)

I started this bible study page 10 years ago because I was astounded at how many people didn't realize that Mormons believe in the bible, or didn't know that many of the unique LDS beliefs were taught by the biblical church. Talking with my friends and acquaintances from other Christian faiths, I learned that they never knew that these topics were even addressed in the bible. Unfortunately, they had been misled. So this page is as much for them as it is for other LDS members who want a quick reference to Mormon doctrine in the bible.

Each topic will include an overview of the particular belief, the biblical citations, the full text of the bible verses and a summary explaining the verses link to topic. When whole chapters were applicable I added links to the chapter instead. I decided to post the text of each verse to make things easier and because no one ever actually takes time to look them up in their Bible anyway. All Bible verse are taken from the King James Version.
